Lomo 35OPF18-1, 20-120mm T3.2 lens in PL mount. Cleaned and serviced in 2019 by a former Angénieux technician in Paris.
The finest cinema zoom ever made by the Soviets. Features a convenient zoom range and extremely close focus: as little as 0.8m at 120mm. You can get a close-up of a human eye.
Fitted with a modern follow focus gear. Comes with a lens support for 19mm studio setup. Additional accessories (rods, baseplate, etc.) available upon request for $10 extra/day.
The lens has a front diameter of 147mm which typically requires a 6x6 mattebox. My O'Connor O-Box can fit this lens but will make the 20-28mm range unusable. If that's not an issue, my O-Box kit can be included upon request for an additional $15/day.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH 15MM RODS. USE OF A LENS SUPPORT IS REQUIRED OR YOU RISK DAMAGING THE MOUNT. THE LENS WEIGHS OVER 13LBS.
NOTE: This is an early copy of an 80s Soviet cinema zoom lens. It has significant vignetting when wide open, an unusual (although I think it's beautiful) bokeh, and depending on the sensor size of your camera, you risk not being entirely covered in the wide end (on Ursa Mini 4.6k PL, for example, full sensor coverage starts at 22mm).
If you're interested but not sure that this is the lens for you, contact me and we can arrange for a test with your camera.
